Early last November, the Future of Music Coalition organized a benefit concert at Tipitina’s with the aim of raising funds for the rebuilding and revitalizing of New Orleans’ music and musicians. The concert included R.E.M.’s Mike Mills, Steve Earle, Boots Riley and Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello along with local artists such as Stanton Moore, Al “Carnival Time “Johnson, Bonerama, and James Andrews.
