Quint Davis: Quint Essential, Part Two

Quint Davis, producer of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, has been active in the music industry for over twenty years. He put together the first festival at the request of George Wein, a musician himself and organizer of music festivals around the world. Wein met Davis, a youngster who was working in the Tulane Jazz Archives, and asked him to assemble some musicians for an event that would celebrate New Orleans' rich musical heritage.
