Musicians’ Village Security

In my never-ending quest to photograph everybody I know and meet, I photographed WWOZ DJ, documentarian and percussionist George Ingmire at his new digs in the Musicians’ Village, before the Chinese drywall moveout. We talked to legendary New Orleans drummer Smokey Johnson, known as “Sheriff of the Musicians’ Village,” about how people protect themselves.
