Great Karma
Thank you for all the great stories, memories, and general great karma you have upheld. While not a resident, many of my musical and cultural memories were sculpted by you [Jan Ramsey] and OffBeat.

Long live OffBeat
I am a lifetime subscriber to OffBeat who also contributed $250 to the GoFundMe effort. My wife and I love OffBeat! I’d like to offer one quick anecdote about OffBeat’s importance for me personally. As a Bobby Bland fan, I was so disappointed in the regional and national coverage of his career following his death. I live near Austin where Bobby appeared many times at Antone’s and other venues. I couldn’t believe that no one seemed to get it. When the next OffBeat arrived, I was truly moved as I read Jeff Hannusch’s obituary. He captured the essence of Bobby’s legacy in his first paragraph. The rest of the article was equally good. I literally breathed a sigh of relief and thanks for such a beautiful remembrance. I could cite other examples. Suffice to say: Long Live OffBeat!
