Cornetist Jack Fine, a jazz musician who played in New Orleans since the 1990s as a founding member of the Jazz Vipers, died on July 16, 2021. He was 92.
Fine was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 26, 1928. At age 12 he was inspired to play the cornet when a visiting musician brought one to his elementary school.
