Huey “Piano” Smith, a 1950s rock and roll star from New Orleans, has died.

Huey “Piano” Smith, the New Orleans pianist and songwriter who created the infectiously fun national hits “Rocking Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu,” “Don’t You Just Know It” and “Sea Cruise,” died February 13 at his home in Baton Rouge.
