Jazz Fest 2010: Hardly a Blue Moment

[UPDATED] Art Garfunkel’s voice, Aretha Franklin, oil and rain were the topics of conversation during Jazz Fest, and speculation was rampant as to why the Queen of Soul no-showed. Fear of flying. Fear of oil in the air. Fear of oil in the water. Fear of bad weather. Jazz Fest had no official reason for her absence from her people, so those guesses will have to suffice. Or, be creative and make up your own. After her second cancellation in as many years, you don’t have to be charitable.
