Artist Linda Lesperance has created a new series of oil paintings entitled "Storyville," to be shown at the Jean Bragg Gallery at 600 Julia Street this March, with an opening reception scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 6-9 p.m.

Lesperance, inspired by New Orleans' unique history, found the notorious area and era of Storyville the perfect subject for her colorful, expressive style.
