I was really excited by the new ‘tit Rex Parade – the first Mardi Gras microkrewe with shoebox floats pulled by remote control cars. When Bacchus, Orpheus, Muses and the like try to figure out how to get bigger, ‘tit Rex tried to get smaller. Unfortunately, I heard (secondhand) late yesterday that the R.C. cars are out because they hadn’t figured out how to get them all on different frequencies. Instead, they’ll be pulled by people power. Still cool, but not as cool.

‘tit Rex’s debut is scheduled for 5:30 tonight at Bacchanal.
