While I’m editing our Jazz Fest A to Z (don’t envy me), I notice that Jazz Fest is gradually adding more Americana to the schedule, this year with the Avett Brothers, Patti Griffin and Guy Clark. That’s good; unfortunately, they’re all on the Fais Do-Do Stage in place of Cajun and zydeco bands – pretty much the only Americana we had at the festival. So now we just have different Americana.
