Gulf Shores, Alabama’s Hangout Music Fest will return for its third year this summer with a lineup that includes Dave Matthews Band, Jack White (who’ll release his solo debut, Blunderbuss, on April 24), String Cheese Incident, Skrillex, Wilco, the Flaming Lips (who’ll perform their Dark Side of the Moon album) and more. Weekend-long ticket packages go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. CST for the beach-front festival, which this year takes place May 18-20. Ticket packages range from general admission to VIP tickets that include golf cart chauffeur service. Last year’s festival sold out of early bird packages, and the festival itself sold out.
So far, the lineup also includes Dispatch, Steve Winwood, Chris Cornell, STS9, Gogol Bordello, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Mac Miller, Flogging Molly, Coheed and Cambria, Paul Oakenfold, G. Love and Special Sauce, Randy Newman, Dr. Dog, Young the Giant, Cage the Elephant, Dawes, the Alabama Shakes, M. Ward, Yelawolf, Switchfoot, Julian Marley, Zeds Dead, Mavis Staples, Shpongle, Gary Clark Jr., Rebelution, Allen Stone, Big Freedia, The Devil Makes Three, Paper Diamond, Futurebirds, Hey Rosetta!, Sleeper Agent, the Lumineers, Archnemesis, Tribal Seeds, Rich Aucoin and Jamie Bergeron with more yet to be announced.
