Yesterday, Bastille Day was celebrated with a short parade from Cafe du Monde to the Joan of Arc statue, punctuated by remarks from leaders of some of the local French organizations, a rousing rendition of “Le Marseillaise,” and, of course, cake and champagne. All photos were taken by Kim Welsh.
