As of press time Sunday afternoon, due to the demolition scheduled at the Hard Rock Hotel, the New Orleans Film Festival’s world premiere of Michael Murphy and Cilista Eberle’s documentary about New Orleans music, Up From The Streets—New Orleans: The City of Music, has been rescheduled to Tuesday evening, October 22, at the Orpheum Theater. The film screening will start at 7:45 p.m. All tickets that were issued for the original screening on Saturday will be honored.
Red carpet begins and doors open at 6:45 p.m. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director, writer, producer Michael Murphy, producer Cilista Eberle, and Quiana Lynell, International Touring Artist, vocalist and educator at Loyola University.
